Sarah Dunant’s Sacred Hearts

Published by at 1:05 pm under books, historical fiction, interview, reviews

Just this week I picked up a copy of Dunant’s Sacred Hearts, now out in the United States in paperback. I’ve loved everything else she’s written, and I think I may like this one best of all. To tempt you, here’s an interview with Dunant in Sarah Johnson’s blog, Reading the Past

Hi Lucy, thanks for linking to my interview! I hope you enjoy it also. I haven’t yet read her In the Company of the Courtesan (shame on me!) but after speaking with her, I think I need to read it asap.

Isn’t it wonderful? I read it last fall from the library and just LOVED it :) Have you read Tracy Chevalier’s Remarkable Creatures yet? It too is fantastic.

I loved the characters in Courtesan. Very original.
Teresa, i have not yet read that Chevalier, but it looks right up my alley. I’ll probably buy it during our big local booksale at the end of May.
