Dear Lucy, super photos of the markets. They were often the highlight of my time in the Phillipines. Same story in Carbon market in Cebu – specific sellers for certain goods. I always bought my big papaya first and left it there to pick up before catching the jeepney back home. Good to hear about Alison’s book. Karin

que fantastico! i have a box of clementines on my counter from spain-
thinking of how lovely it would be to go to the market & pick up some
fresh fish right now. it is below zero in chicago & will be worse tomorrow.
